was eleven.
“What I personally enjoy about the sport is being
able to just go all out on the field. The brotherhood
with my teammates is also a big highlight for me,”
said Reegan.
Some of his favourite memories with the Wildcats
are on the bus rides when the team gets up to
unforgettable shenanigans.
“What I enjoy about being a Wildcat is the culture that
we have here. It’s like a big family,” shared Reegan.
“I also enjoy the commitment that many people in
the organization have to the team—especially the
managers, who go above and beyond for the team.”
His goal, alongside his teammates, is to win the
championship this year.
Reegan’s football advice to younger players is:
“Football is a special sport in the way it can teach
you about life. With the very short amount of time
you have to play it, appreciate the time you have and
let it teach you.”

Joel
Musavuli

Joel Musavuli plays running
back with the Cornwall
Wildcats. His older brother
inspired him to begin playing
football. After some brotherly
encouragement, Joel decided
to give the sport a try.
He played two seasons for the Orléans Raftsmen, then
played football for his high school, St. Thomas Aquinas. In
between seasons he trained to get better at the sport. In
grade 11, Joel began playing for the Wildcats and is now in
his second season as a Wildcat.
“I enjoy the sport because of the energy that people bring
to field, the intensity, and playing with teammates with the
same goal,” Joel shared. “So far, my season with the team
has been pretty positive. I continue to play my hardest every
game because I want my team to be able to rely on me as
much as I rely on them.”
His goal with football is to play professionally, to be the best
at his position, and to inspire others around him with his
work ethic.
“To any younger football player my advice to them is to
keep working hard. Things might get hard, but you should
never give up. Believe in yourself, your teammates and your
coaches, and make sure that you are having fun,” said Joel.
“I enjoy being a part of the Wildcats because to me it’s a
second family. I see my teammates as my own siblings and
have a lot of respect for them.”
