Sports Energy’s Game On in South Glengarry
athlete for May is Lancaster’s own Finnley
Sullivan. Finnley started playing hockey for
Char-Lan at the age of three as part of the IP
junior program.
Finnley loves everything about his sport,
hockey. “I like spending time with my
teammates and working as a team,” he explains. “I like to score goals, to
keep improving, and one day I’d like to be the best player on the team.” This
versatile winger plays both the left and right sides of the ice.
Academically, Finnley is ambitious. “In school, I hope to get all A’s, and for
work I would like to go to the NHL, but if not, I’d like to be a firefighter,”
he says. Winning ‘most improved’ on his hockey team this year is, he feels,
his most impressive achievement. He feels hockey is important to Canadians
because it’s very popular in our country, it’s fun to watch, and it’s good
exercise.
