Swimming with the Sea Lions:
Zach Millward and Abi Marsolais

Zach Millward, 10, is one of the
Sea Lions’ Junior Development
swimmers. This is one of the
smallest groups of returning
swimmers and it is made up of
some of the youngest swimmers.
This is Zach’s second year with
the Sea Lions and he enjoyed
travelling to swim competitions
last season. This year his goal is
to improve his butterfly. He said
swimming with the Sea Lions is
fun, helps him learn to concentrate
and focus, and builds his strength.

you do that to us?’ after a hard set
makes me want to give him more
hard sets, just so he can make
me laugh! Zach is also the only
swimmer I have ever known who
can carry on an entire conversation
while swimming. Life on the swim
team would be much less enjoyable
