Zumba with Christal Hosted a Dementia Friends Day

n Monday Sept. 16, Zumba with Christal hosted
Oa Dementia Friends Day at Nativity Hall. Over
$500 was raised in support of the Alzheimer Society
of Cornwall and District. The class took place from
6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and had great participation.

Everyone who attended the Zumba class dressed
in blue to show support for people living with
Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
World Alzheimer’s Day is September 21, and Photo Submitted
many people around the world wear blue to show a Zumba class which combines physical exercise and choreographed steps, is
