South Branch Garage presents
“Game On” in South Glengarry
Meet our Athletes
Millie Macdonald
FPO School: Ecole Elementaire L’Ange Gardien
FPO
Hometown: Lancaster
Age: 9 Grade: 4
South Glengarry is celebrating nine-year-old
athlete, Millie Macdonald, as this month’s featured
young sports star.
She has been playing hockey and soccer for five years
and also enjoys cross-country running.
In hockey, Millie plays defence, a position she loves
because it keeps her on the ice skating hard—her
favourite part of the sport. Her passion for the game
fuels her biggest long-term dream: to play in the
PWHL.
Outside of sports, Millie hopes to become
a teacher when she’s older. She is proud of her
accomplishments, including being a strong skater and placing 6th in the Iona cross-country
race against many other schools.
For Millie, hockey is more than just a game—it’s something that brings her whole family
together to cheer her on. She also credits her big brothers as her role models, saying she
hopes to be “big and strong like them one day.”
South Glengarry is proud to celebrate Millie’s hard work, determination, and passion for sport.
