Over the past five years, Ontario

to diverse projects, restoring and
enriching vast wetlands, as well
as smaller wetlands on marginal
agricultural lands and within urban
areas, for stormwater management.
On a recent trip to Eastern
Ontario and Cornwall, Minister
of the Environment, the Hon.
Andrea Khanjin, announced
that our government is investing
over $2.8 million in farmer-led
projects spearheaded by ALUS
Canada. One of those projects
being at Jamink Farms, on Willy
Allan Road, where Tom and Julia

restore and enhance wetlands on
70 farms spread across eleven
municipalities and counties within
the Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, St.
Lawrence, and Ottawa River
watersheds. This effort aims to
